DWL Construction Corp. is owned and run by Vlad out of Lloydminster. We do residential masonry — stone, chimney, fireplace, stucco — for homeowners within an hour's drive. That's the whole company.
The story
Built from a stone wall and a stubborn refusal to cut corners.
Vlad has been laying stone, brick, and stucco for years across Alberta and Saskatchewan. DWL Construction Corp. was registered when it was clear that Lloydminster needed a residential mason that lived in town, not one that drove in from Edmonton and wouldn't come back for a touch-up.
The work hasn't changed since the start: cultured stone for tired façades, chimney repairs before the leak becomes a ceiling, floor-to-ceiling fireplace surrounds, parging on foundations that should outlast the house. Same crew, same standards, no subbing out to whoever's free that week.
We are deliberately small. Two-to-four people on most jobs, owner on every one. We don't scale up by hiring more crews because the moment you do that, you stop being on-site and the work starts drifting. If you call DWL, Vlad is the person who answers, quotes, builds, and signs off.

We will never
- ×Quote you over the phone without seeing the site. That's how customers get blindsided by change orders.
- ×Take a deposit and disappear for two months. If we can't start within a reasonable window, we'll say so and you'll have your options.
- ×Sub out to whoever's available. The crew that quotes is the crew that shows up.
We always will
- ✓Reply to a quote request within 24 hours on a business day. Same day if you call before 4 p.m.
- ✓Send written quotes with line-item materials and a real start date, not a verbal estimate.
- ✓Come back if something needs adjusting after we've left. We live 15 minutes away.
