Floor-to-ceiling feature walls, hearths, and surrounds in cultured stone, natural ledgestone, or brick. We don't install the appliance — we build the stone that goes around it.

A stone fireplace is the photograph in the listing, the wall everyone gravitates to at Christmas, and the part of the house that ages well even when finishes around it date. It's also the easiest interior renovation to get badly wrong — bad proportions, the wrong stone profile, hearths that don't sit right relative to the mantel.
We work with your fireplace installer (R&D Plumbing or whoever you've chosen) and handle just the stone. We come in once the appliance is in and the rough framing is done, build the stone face, and leave you with something that looks like it was always there.

Full floor-to-ceiling feature walls
The whole wall the fireplace lives on, finished in stone. The most common request, and the one that makes the strongest visual impact.
Surrounds & mantels
Stone around the firebox only, with a wood or stone mantel. Cleaner, smaller scope, lower budget.
Hearths
The raised or flush stone base in front of the firebox. We handle hearths as part of any fireplace job and as standalone scopes for existing installs.
Outdoor fireplaces & fire pits
Stone-faced outdoor fireplaces on covered patios, fire pit surrounds, and pizza-oven exteriors. Same craft, just exposed to weather.
Rough pricing
Floor-to-ceiling feature walls: $5,500–$12,000 depending on stone profile and wall size. Surround-only: $2,800–$5,500. Hearth: $900–$2,200.
